Bridegrooms

When planning the transport arrangements for your wedding day don't forget to give careful consideration about how the bridegroom will travel to the place where the ceremony is taking place. Tradition does dictate that the groom is driven to the church/wedding venue by the best man! Also, traditionally, the best man escorts the groom, with his bride, to the bridal carriage for their journey to the reception venue.
However, you don't have to stick with tradition as some modern grooms like to have a special carriage too. I have used my Rolls to convey the groom and the best man (and sometimes the ushers too) to the the wedding venue and then collected the bride and the person who is giving her away. Clearly, this only works when the journeys for both are quite short and, on occasions where the groom lived some distance from the ceremony venue, he has been driven to a pub close the the church and has just been driven from there in the Rolls. The Rolls has also been used for the groom when two wedding cars are hired and when the bride has travelled by horses and carriage. In any event where the ceremony is taking place at a church or a registry office, then the groom travels in the Rolls with his new bride to the reception. Where both the ceremony and wedding breakfast/reception take place at a combined venue, I offer the newly-weds a short drive in the Rolls between the ceremony and the reception: this gives some quiet precious minutes for them to chill-out. There is no additional charge for this journey!

The Balmer Lawn Hotel, Brockenhurst.  His bride's wedding carriage was the Rolls-Royce.

Please Note: This Bentley has now been sold.  However, should you require a second car for your

wedding please be aware that I  will be pleased to give you details of reputable companies or owners

whom I know to be both professional and sensibly priced.
